Writing is my main connection to sanity, to feeling grounded, to identifying right from wrong and not allowing abuse to be normalized. I hope it can do the same for you, or that another outlet will, bc it is a daily ongoing struggle with fear when our kids are still in it. <3

The more I recover, the more I want to speak out. ESPECIALLY about my babes. But even also as I connect the dots to my own childhood.

I started this as my first social media (or similar) being ‘myself,’ and as a way to challenge my fears, but DO have concerns of what you describe here. I don’t know at what level I need to be more intentional or not about separating my experience from my babes’ either (bc that’s the one I care about; they’re still in it), and these topics are yet another I know little about.

WHY does everything have to take SO much dang work and knowledge?!! Ughhh!!

Anyway, thank you… you write TRUTH.
